For those interested in hearin Lang in a musical context, there are a couple of MP3s in the meinl site
http://www.meinl.de/cymbals/cymb_2_14.html
Just go down and click for the MP3 page, Intresting stuff!!.
I was disappointed when I heard the Johny Rabb songs , I like his solo performances, but his music is....
not my style.

I dug the music. The intro guitar sound on FS immediately reminded me of Virgil's, OTV Serious Young Insects. I didn't care for the BD sound...but this ought to put to rest if ol' TL can lay it down in a musical context. He does like to hit the splash a lot.

I have Conrad's album. I really dislike all the heads of the tunes but the middles are great.

I checked a good amount of the Lang DVD at NAMM and it looks like a winner. Only time will tell. There are some lame heads on that as well but it looks like a lot of great info.

I'd love to hear him do a heavy solo album.
